The Irish Studies program at the University of Montana is offering three courses in the Irish language this summer. These course are: Beginning; Intermediate, and Advanced. The courses provide 60 hours of instruction over a ten-day period, beginning on Monday, July 20, and concluding on Friday, July 31. Students may opt to register for as many days as fits their schedule, or register for the full course. Each day of instruction concludes with a presentation on Irish culture, specifically on Irish Gaelic culture and the Celtic worldview revealed through the language. These are very challenging, but rewarding courses.
