During this course, we will be learning about the flora and fauna of Glacier National Park. We will hike to Red Rock Falls in Many Glacier and Virginia Falls in St. Mary, Glacier National Park; identifying plants and animals that inhabit the alpine ecosystem. During the hike, participants will look for and identify indigenous plants. Participants will also be looking for and identifying animal tracks and scat. Over the two days, participants will dive deeply into the alpine ecosystem and how all the plants and animals interact.
