How to do an Assistive Technology Evaluation

November 9, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

| Free

Not sure how to choose Assistive Technology (AT) for your students? Never done an AT Evaluation before? This workshop will present best practices for assessing a student’s need for AT. We’ll go through an AT evaluation together using the free AT assessment guide: WATI (Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative). If your district has their own AT assessment process, bring that to the workshop.

This workshop will be provided virtually. All log-in information will be provided prior to the workshop.

Presenter:
Marlena Lanini, MOT, OTR/L is a Clinic Coordinator with MonTECH, Montana’s Assistive Technology Act program. Marlena provides technology demonstrations, support, and trainings with the mission of increasing access to assistive technology for Montanan’s with disabilities. Marlena also spent several years working as occupational therapist in schools in Colorado and Nevada.
