During this 3-week module, you will acquire strategies for embedding the Mathematical Practices into everyday instruction and learning to recognize mathematical modeling in lessons and activities.

Specific goals and activities include the following:

• Recognize how learners engage in the eight Mathematical Practices and how to incorporate them into lessons and activities.
• Analyze video cases of exemplary teaching to identify Mathematical Practices in action.
• Complete dynamic mathematical tasks.
• Observe levels of student and teacher engagement in Mathematical Practices and modeling.
