Supporting Self-Direction and Improvisation to Foster Differentiated Social, Emotional, and Academic Learning Remotely webinar

March 26, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

| $119

The Western Montana Professional Learning Collaborative (WMPLC) is hosting a webinar with presenter Zachary Morris, M.Ed. In this online workshop we will explore strategies and structures for creating remote, differentiated learning opportunities that foster self-direction, promote improvisation, and address the whole-person needs of your students. We will examine some of the research into these topics, we will look at some concrete examples of how self-direction and improvisation activities can manifest in a remote (or in person) learning environment, and we will practice developing structures that can be implemented with your students in your specific content area. Supporting student learning through activities that foster self-direction and improvisation offers students the opportunity to practice awareness, adaptability, and critical thinking as they work with the resources and materials that are available to them.
