This FREE workshop is for grades 6-12 social studies educators. Educators will explore tribal histories of the upper Great Plains using primary sources and learn strategies for historical thinking and student-led historical research.
This workshop is a collaboration between the Montana Historical Society and the State Historical Society of North Dakota. It is sponsored by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Great Plains Region, coordinated by the National Council for History Education.
Lunch, travel stipend (including a hotel room for those traveling over 90 miles), and 5 OPI renewal Units provided. Apply for priority consideration by September 26.
