The Framework: A Practical Guide for Montana Teachers and Administrations Implementing IEFA
This workshop is an opportunity for educators to address IEFA in terms of policy/planning, professional development, materials review/selection, curriculum mapping, and curricular integration. The goal is to promote best practices toward content integration, which includes culturally relevant resources within MCCS for Mathematics and ELA/Literacy.
Session Objectives:
- Provide relevant information about American Indians and/or MT Indians within the MCCS for Mathematics and ELA/Literacy
- Learn strategies for achieving higher levels of implementation including inquiry-based approaches and practical instructional ideas that link IEFA content and context to skill sets and standards expectation
- Provide a catalyst for school improvement and responsibility to IEFA
