Experience the many moods of Montana’s glorious landscape in this course designed for the artist striving to capture the ever-elusive light of the outdoors or the “Sunday painter” who wants to combine their enjoyment of painting with a love of nature. Emphasis will be on expressing mood and capturing the essence of the scene through spontaneity and suggestion, keeping your work vibrant and fresh. Bring your materials or use what we provide. A pre-class meeting will decide the location(s) and get your creative juices flowing with a brief discussion of the plein-air basics! Bring a sack lunch and water.  Educators can apply this learning within their classrooms for the benefit of their students!
