Amplifying Diverse Voices: Continuing Education Speaker Series in DEI

We are proud to present a speaker series on diversity, equity and inclusivity (DEI) in order to teach how diverse identities and voices affect treatment and research in speech-language pathology (SLP), and to increase minority representation within the field. Our DEI speaker series provides (required) continuing education credits (CEs) to current SLPs who may attend for a registration fee. We aim to provide cutting-edge content related to DEI in clinical contexts, with expert speakers who also provide lived experience to further support their content.

The series will be offered at 5:30pm-7:30pm (mountain time) synchronously on Tuesdays in Spring 2024. Links forthcoming for registrants. Attendees must attend all 5 speakers’ workshops and participate in engagement activities to attain the 1.0 CE offered.

Support for this series is provided by SLHOS, the UM College of Health, and the UM Provost Office.
