Using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire 3rd Edition – Social Emotional
This is an opportunity to learn how to use the third edition of the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) and the second edition of the Social Emotional Questionnaire (ASQ-SE).
The ASQ-3 is a tool that helps families and professionals determine if a child, birth to 60 months, is on track with development, if the child needs continued monitoring, or if the child may benefit from additional early intervention services. The ASQ is currently used by a variety of professionals in education, early intervention, and health care fields.
The ASQ-SE is a tool that professionals can use with families to determine if a child, birth to 60 months, is on track with social-emotional development. It will help to identify if a child may need behavioral supports, counseling, or other social emotional resources.
Basic knowledge of ASQ is preferred. Minimal to no knowledge of ASQ-SE needed.
