This is a place based immersive experience in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest\, near Iquitos\, Peru\, focusing on the extraordinary flora\, fauna\, customs\, local legends and history of the area – many of which connect to our own culture and history. The adventure includes a service project in a local river village. We will look at the area through a geographic lens to explore what makes this place special\, unique\, vitally important in our world and how it relates to Montana. Inclusive in the program are aspects of science\, environmental educ.\, social studies\, history\, ecology\, biomimicry\, art\, music and inclusion.
