Writing Among Friends: Creating a Composition Community to be Modeled in the Classroom

June 13 @ 8:30 am - June 14 @ 5:00 pm

| $100

Join me and fellow teacher-writers as we re-energize our love of composition. As a teacher-consultant for the Yellowstone Writing Project, I want to welcome writers of all comfort levels to jump back into the role of the writer. We will gather to kindle the fire of authorship as we write and share in a supportive writing community. The goal of this work is to gain comfort first, by sharing our writing with peers, as a segue into modeling authorship for our students. Keep in mind registration is open to all content areas and is not limited to ELA educators.
