June 20 @ 8:00 am - June 21 @ 5:00 pm

| Free

FireWorks is an educational program about the science of wildland fire, designed for students in grades K-12. It provides students with interactive, hands-on materials to study wildland fire. It is highly interdisciplinary and students learn about properties of matter, chemical and physical processes, ecosystem fluctuations and cycles, habitat and survival, and human interactions with ecosystems.

The workshop consists of two days of entertaining hands-on activities that you will learn in order to teach students about wildland fire behavior, ecology, management and activities related to traditional fire use by Native Americans.
