Understanding and Nurturing the Communicative Competence of Learners with Significant Disabilities webinar

The Montana Deaf-Blind Project and the Montana Transition Resources Project are hosting a two-part webinar series with presenter Philip Schweigert, M.Ed. Session 1’s topic is Recognizing the Communication Abilities of Learners with Significant Disabilities, with a focus on assessing all levels of communication using the Communication Matix as an assessment tool. Session 2’s topic is Promoting the Communicative Competence of Learners with Significant Disabilities, with a focus on assisting learners improve their communication skills at the level they are at.

Each session has a separate registration. Session 1 is on Monday, August 10, 2020, and Session 2 is on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Visit the Montana Deaf-Blind Project’s website to register for Session 1 or to register for Session 2.
