Want to bring the world of Eric Carle’s painted paper art to children? Join me for two fun-filled days exploring this amazing artist and author, as well as a few others. You will get the chance to paint paper and create your very own masterpieces! This type of artwork is created in collage technique, using hand-painted papers, which you cut and layer to form bright and cheerful images. Participants will leave this course with many ideas of how to integrate art with Language Arts. Participants will also leave with four detailed lesson plans and samples to use in your classroom. Lesson plans will target Kindergarten through High School and the instructor will provide several examples at various levels. Don’t feel overly artsy? No worries, you will be guided through the process!
