The Three R’s for the 21st Century: Rigor, Relevance, and Reasoning (3rd-8th)

The workshop will provide step by step directions for compacting, creating Extension Menus, independent study, and implementing questioning strategies to enhance differentiation in the classroom. The focus will be for high achieving/high ability students. Differentiation information will follow Teaching Gifted Kids in Today’s Classroom by Susan Winebrenner, along with other strategies.

Presenters Kim Watterson and Darla Williams are Independent Educational Consultants with W-Squared Consulting. The two of them offer professional development in gifted education for MRESA3. Together they bring extensive knowledge, resources, experience, and enthusiasm to the field of “gifted and talented”. You can learn more about W-Squared Consulting at wsquaredconsulting.net.
