Teaching Montana History in Any Classroom

The Golden Triangle Curriculum Cooperative (GTCC) is offering this event as part of their 2021 Summer Institute.

This course, taught by Montana Teacher Leaders Ron Buck and Jennifer Graham, will give participants relevant and new ideas to teach Montana History in any classroom. Topics will include, but are not limited to: the Chinese experience in Montana, particularly during the mining era. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Montana History lessons and strategies for application of the new Montana Social Studies Standards. Become reinvigorated by two experienced Montana History educators while learning great Montana History lessons as well as best practices.
