Social Emotional Learning: Parts C & D

This series of professional development focus on Literacy/Reading. In the first session (October 19) the focus will be on “7 Literacy Elements: A Practitioner’s Guide to Rigor and Relevance”. The second session will focus on “Bibliotherapy”, which offers a combination of literacy and SEL. Resource for participants includes: “Bibliography”.

This workshop is in two parts and participants will be registered for both dates. Resources will be mailed to the participants following the workshop. The workshop will be presented virtually. Log-in information will be provided prior to the workshop.

Presenter:
Dr. Linda Karges-Bone is the author of 34 books. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of South Carolina in Curriculum and Instruction. she has keynoted and presented in 45 states and is one of a handful of speakers invited to address the past seven National Title I Conferences. Dr. Bone is known as a “teacher’s teacher” who is able to weave and align theory and practice into immediate, applicable, powerful strategies for classroom use.
