Hosted by the Region III CSPD & MRESA, this three-prong workshop is designed to give participants the self-care tools necessary for well-being, resiliency, and success in life and work presented by Dr. Randy Russell, superintendent of the Freeman, WA School District. The three prongs are:
The 3 “Ships”: Everyone is the Captain of their own ship. You have the ability, power, and skills to chart your course and determine your journey in life. The 3 “Ships”–which focuses on your RelationSHIPS, LeaderSHIP, and PartnerSHIPS–will help you to grow, develop and be happier as a person and as leaders–at home, at work, and in life.
“Sharpening Your Saw”: This highly interactive and reflective session will focus on preserving and enhancing the greatest resource you have–you. Join us as we discuss and discover a balanced program for self-renewal and “Sharpen Your Saw” in the four areas of your life: physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual.
“Ten Tools of Success”: In the “Ten Tools of Success”, you will learn about a different set of tools–life strategies–you can use to improve your personal and professional relationships. Whether it’s at your kitchen table, in your school, with your business, or with a State Patrol officer you’re talking about a speeding ticket, the ten tools will help you with improved communication, relationships, and connections.
This workshop includes three one-hour follow-up sessions with the presenter throughout the school year. Visit the Region III website to register for the event.
