The Region IV CSPD is hosting presenter Ben Carr and part 2 of his Self-Care and Mindfulness in a Changing Educational Environment webinar series.

The purpose of this series of sessions is to increase the audience’s academic and applied knowledge of self-care and mindfulness to reduce stress during the times of Covid-19.  We will explore causes of stress and paths to stress reduction.  This series will merge western psychology with philosophies found in eastern cultures.

Each session will include a discussion clarifying what is meant by a variety of terms including mindfulness, illusion of control, stress, coping mechanisms, self-compassion and the joy and anxiety of impermanence. Participants will participate in a variety of mindfulness techniques suitable for self-care and implementation with students.

Visit the event website to register for this webinar series.
