Pre-Registration Required: Distance Learning that Supports Student Sensemaking (July or August)

June 17 - June 30

| Free

Due to COVID-19, the Northwest Earth & Space Science Pipeline (NESSP) grant will be providing registration funding for 50 teachers to attend distance learning through the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) that supports students’ sensemaking.

NESSP partners, the Montana Office of Public Instruction and Montana Tech, understand that given the current teaching environment, teachers will be more apt to reach the goals of the NASA-funded grant if they are equipped with the background knowledge in virtual learning with strategies and assessment for science.

This four-part program is being offered twice: July 6, 9, 13, & 16 from 1-2:30 p.m. or August 4, 11, 18,&  25 from 5:15-6:45 p.m.  Funding is allowed for 25 teachers for each session. Please contact Rayelynn Brandl at brandl@mtech.edu for any questions.
