Native Perspectives and Voices of the 21st Century (School Services of Montana member event)

November 1, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

| Free

Join us for a roundtable professional learning session with Blackfeet, Crow, Northern Cheyenne, and Urban Indian representatives. Connect and share stories across cultures and generations to gain perspective and insight into contemporary Montana Plains Indian life. First Nations Montana natives, including parents, elders, and college-age students, will share their experiences and wisdom to help us enrich our understandings of humanity and strengthen our shared circles across Montana. During this morning, you will have the opportunity to engage in authentic conversations with peers and colleagues in small and large group circles. Walk away with a heightened sense of how to integrate and highlight individual stories and cultural perspectives into your students’ classroom experience.
