This free workshop is an opportunity for Montana teachers to learn more about the petroleum industry, how oil and gas operations are conducted, and how the industry impacts the people and economy of Montana and the nation. The workshop course will provide hands-on activities, lectures and discussions with petroleum industry professionals, explaining the various parts of the petroleum business, including regulations, geology, drilling, production, refining and marketing. Participants will also travel on three field trips to observe different types of oil and gas operations.
