The Mindful by Nature workshop is a two-day workshop at the Hummingbird Healing Arts Lodge, led by instructor Kate Crouch. This 2-day workshop will help you develop and explore a mindfulness practice based in nature. We will delve into the importance of a personal exploration of mindfulness and the benefits they hold for your students and the classroom space. Host Kate Crouch holds a Master’s degree in Art Integration in Education from the University of Montana where she studied Mindfulness and Art. She has completed the Forest for Every Classroom teaching program through U of M and Montana Natural History Center. Her B.A is in Integrative Studies from Warren Wilson College. Kate is a certified Yoga instructor, with over 300 hrs in education. Currently, She is a teaching artist for SPARK! Arts Missoula and conducts yoga classes in the valley. Her passion for teaching is rooted in her belief that movement, mindfulness and nature connection bring us all closer to our truest nature
