Misinformation is widespread online, but educators can teach students media literacy skills and build their ability to navigate information sources critically by having them analyze fake websites. This interactive workshop will provide techniques and strategies for using fake websites to promote digital citizenship and critical thinking in an engaging, authentic way. Educators in Texas, Montana, Pennsylvania, and Illinois are pre-approved to receive relicensure credit for this session.
