The Western Montana CSPD is hosting this free three-part webinar series with presenter Yolanda Westerberg.

This training will show teachers how to use the Two-Column Note systems within all content areas to (1) enhance students’ comprehension of text as they process, organize, and restate information, (2) encourage metacognition as students actively identify and organize main ideas and key supporting details, and (3) gather and organizing information to write from a variety of sources. Active reading strategies and teaching academic vocabulary will also be addressed.

Each session will be build on each other. The series dates are:

• Wednesday, February 3, 2021
• Tuesday, February 16, 2021
