MCCS for Mathematics Geometry Progression 6-12
The MCCS for Mathematical Content is designed to be focused and coherent in order to improve mathematics achievement. This course will focus on the Geometry Progression from grades 6 to 12 along with the eight Mathematical Practices in the Montana Content Standards for Mathematics and how the progression and practices are implemented in the classroom.
Session Objectives:
- Learn and understand the Geometry Progression from grades 6 to 12 and the mathematical practices
- Learn how Geometry standards and mathematical practices are applied in classroom instruction
- Learn how to implement lessons that engage students in Geometry and the mathematical practices
