Disciplinary Literacy: Cognitive Secrets
This is the second course in the Disciplinary Literacy series. It is broken into two parts. The first focuses on distinguishing between content and disciplinary standards to ensure students are reading and comprehending complex text with a clear set of outcomes. The second covers the classroom application of Cognitive Secrets. Content is differentiated based on subject areas. In order to take this course, you must first complete Introduction to Disciplinary Literacy & The Standards.
