Curriculum Planning and Mapping
This professional learning session provides an overview of the research-based curriculum mapping process to help all teachers build a foundation for intentionally planning to meet school-wide community goals, state standards, and individual student needs. Sessions may be planned for a deep dive into any of the following areas or may provide a broader overview for a full understanding of how all of these components work together to build a solid curriculum foundation:
- Standards Review (with Prioritization and Vertical Alignment)
- Understanding and Using Proficiency Scales
- Standards-Aligned Assessments
- Standards-Based or Standards-Aligned Grading & Reporting Practices
