Building Empathy and Positive Interactions Among Students

Many students need explicit teaching in these skills! Explore ways to support students socially and emotionally through class meeting structures and explicit instruction.  In this session, we’ll unpack the meaning of social and emotional learning (SEL), learn the five SEL competencies, and experience structures and lessons that help build empathy and positive interactions among students.
