Backpack Science K-6 Inquiry Activities: Mapping
The Backpack Science series of Teacher Learning Hub courses are designed to help elementary educators around Montana utilize the environment in an integrating context for teaching inquiry-based science content that is correlated to Montana standards. Each course focuses on one science topic, and includes background content, hands-on activities, and embedded questions designed to facilitate understanding at the learner’s own pace. This course, the first of nine, focuses on mapping. Developed by Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Faculty from the Montana University System.
