This workshop is part of the Golden Triangle Curriculum Cooperative’s 2017 Summer Institute.
Part 1 of this workshop, Teaching the Whole Child, will focus on the important role of growth mindset and social-emotional learning (SEL) as an essential part of core instruction. This workshop is designed for K-6 educators who want to deepen their understanding about the importance of intentional development of SEL skills.
Part 2 of this workshop, Best Practices in Writing Instruction, builds on Part 1 of the workshop. It is designed for K-6 educators who are working to improve writing instruction and motivate students in their development as writers.
