Teaching and Assessing English Learners in Montana’s Schools

October 29 - December 12

This course is designed to provide content teachers with the skills needed to adapt standards-based lessons for English learners. Including identifying academic language, creating language goals for ELs, differentiating instruction, and creating scaffolds based on EL proficiency levels. Required Textbook: Access to Academics: Planning Instruction for K-12 Classrooms with ELLs.
