Research Teachers Conference Lottery, Society for Science & the Public

July 27 - August 1

| Free

We would like to invite high school science research teachers at all levels of experience to sign up for a chance to gather in Washington, D.C. for a weekend to share best practices, troubleshoot any challenges they face in supporting students in independent science research, and learn more about the Society and the Regeneron Science Talent Search.

Two hundred teachers will be selected via lottery to attend — one third will be veteran teachers who have significant experience teaching research, one third will be teachers who have some experience, and one third will be teachers who do not have experience yet, but would like to begin supporting students by teaching research. Preference will be given to schools who have not attended in the past.

Travel, Lodging ,and Meals will be covered for all attendees. The dates on this posting are for the lottery. The actual conference (invitation only) is October 13 – 15, 2017.
