The OPI Accreditation and Educator Preparation (AEP) Division announces an exclusive learning opportunity for up to 20 school and district administrators and teacher leaders on August 16-17, 2017 on the campus of MSU Billings.
The two-day workshop provides an opportunity to learn about and be prepared to deliver eight training modules based on the Danielson Introduction to the Framework for Teaching. The Billings workshop applies directly to the work of school and district administrators and teacher leaders in creating a culture of learning and ongoing professional growth. The purpose of this training is to offer consistent content for administrators and teacher leaders who will lead their staff through the foundational elements of Montana-EPAS. A resilient culture of learning in schools and across districts will lead to improved student learning, well-being, and success.
Each educator completing this two-day training and participating in two follow-up webinars will be licensed to lead school and district staff through the eight modules for one calendar year, from September 2017 through August 2018, ensuring consistent understanding and application of the Montana-EPAS.
