Community Crates Program – Cody Allen
The Billings Public Library staff is developing six STEAM themed crates (Robotics, A/V, Coding, Engineering, Science, and Astronomy) that are full of technology and equipment similar to what they have in the TECH Lab. They will also have activities for each crate, so whoever checks them out has ready-made things to do with the equipment. The crates are designed to be checked out by community groups/organizations and schools, and to be used by the library for outreach. He will discuss how they plan to build partnerships with schools with this program.
