Megan A. Vincent, the Family & Consumer Sciences Education Specialist in the Career & Technical Education Division at the Office of Public Instruction, is offering three Family & Consumer Sciences Regional Updates titled “Partnering with Post-Secondary” in various locations around the state in August. Each regional update will be offered in partnership with a post-secondary institution as part of our ongoing Montana Career Pathways work. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with new faculty members at both DCC and FVCC that connect to our FCS programs! All Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) educators are strongly encouraged to attend – both middle school and high school, part-time and full-time.
There is no registration fee to attend. The Office of Public Instruction will provide lunch at all three meeting locations. Pending grant approval, mileage reimbursement may be provided to regional high schools attending the update in Kalispell, and mileage/lodging reimbursement may be provided to regional high schools attending the update in Glendive.
Update participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 6 OPI Renewal Units. Please register online by July 1.
