Catalyzing Change in High School Mathematics – Meeting 1

January 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We are excited to begin our book study on Catalyzing Change in High School Mathematics this winter. Based on responses, we are going to host two optional gatherings for each reading. Feel free to pick the meeting time that works best for you and mark your calendar. We will be meeting via GoToMeeting, links are below. Earn two renewal units for each meeting attended. Please feel free to invite colleagues and friends you think may be interested. They can sign up here (goo.gl/NKzJQn) to receive reminders.

Buy your book today at NCTM online bookstore or read from the free Public Review Document online. (There are a few slight changes between the finalized text and the public review document.)

Last, NCTM created a Book Study Guide as a companion to the text (goo.gl/48jSmq). While we will not be following the guide directly, they do have helpful before, during, and after you read questions outlined for each section. Feel free to use this as a thought partner as you read. We may decide to take a look at some of the discussion questions posed to spark our conversations.
